How to Make  Slow Cooker Corned Beef

Place sliced onions, garlic cloves, the spices, and the corned beef (fat cap up) in the bottom of a slow cooker insert.

Pour in beer and enough water to just cover the corned beef. Cook on LOW for 8-10 hours.

5-6 hours before the corned beef is finished, add the potatoes and carrots to the slow cooker.

2 hours before the corned beef is finished, add the cabbage wedges to the slow cooker.
