Make the most of your holiday leftovers with these Turkey Cranberry Sliders, baked until golden with turkey breast, cranberry sauce, creamy Boursin, melty cheese, and a honey-Dijon butter topping.
Preheat oven to 350°F with the rack in the middle position. Line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper. (If using a dark pan, reduce the temperature to 325°F so the bottoms of the sliders don't get too dark.)
Without separating the individual rolls, slice the whole package in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.
Spread the Boursin evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Layer on the cranberry sauce, followed by the turkey and sliced cheese. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth.
Brush the tops of the rolls with half of the butter mixture. Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil, brush with the remaining butter sauce, and sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning. Bake uncovered for 5 minutes, until the tops are golden and lightly crisp.
Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes, then cut apart with a serrated knife. Serve warm.
Notes
Hawaiian rolls: Use the classic sweet rolls, or the King's Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls for a little less sweetness—your choice!Turkey: For carved turkey, aim for slices about ¼ inch thick or use small pieces. If using deli turkey, the thinner slices can be layered.Boursin: We use about half of a 5.3-ounce package of Garlic and Herb Boursin. Take it out of the refrigerator about 20 minutes before assembling the sliders so it spreads easily. You can also switch up the flavor of these sliders by using other Boursin varieties, like Shallot and Chive.Everything Bagel Seasoning: Use your favorite store-bought blend, or my homemade seasoning, linked. If you make my recipe, follow the un-toasted instructions since the seasoning will toast in the oven on the sliders.Make Ahead: Assemble up to 4 hours in advance without the butter sauce and refrigerate, tightly covered. Let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes before baking, and then proceed with the recipe as written, from Step 4 (making the butter sauce, brushing, and baking).
