Method All-Purpose Cleaner Spray, French Lavender
Every kitchen cleaning supply cabinet needs a good all-purpose cleaner! Method is one of my favorites. I use this non-toxic, biodegradable spray almost everywhere in my kitchen. It easily tackles grease, dirt, and debris with a pleasant scent that doesn’t overpower.
Signature Stainless Steel Cleaning Polish
I found Signature Polish years ago at the recommendation of Wolf/Subzero appliances, and it’s been a constant in my cleaning supplies ever since. This environmentally-friendly cleaner has so many uses (both in and out of the kitchen), but I love it for polishing stainless steel appliance surfaces. It easily removes grease, water marks, smudges, and fingerprints for a like-new appearance.
Branch Basics Premium Starter Kit
With a single bottle of Branch Basic's liquid Concentrate, you can create multiple non-toxic, mineral based cleaners to use in your home. Just mix the concentrate with water, according to the fill lines on the bottles included in their Starter Kit. I most often use the All-Purpose and Streak Free bottles in my kitchen, both of which work great for daily touch-ups and when deep cleaning. {Disclosure: Branch Basics sent me a complimentary Starter Pack to try in 2022. I've genuinely enjoyed using the product line, and it's become a staple in my cleaning repertoire in the time since.}
HOPE'S Perfect Glass Cleaner Spray
Whether I’m cleaning the glass top on my kitchen dining table or the glass doors on my ovens, Hope’s has been my spray of choice for at least 15 years. This ammonia-free cleaner quickly leaves glass streak-free, with a light scent that doesn’t linger.
Bar Keepers Friend Powdered Cleanser
For years, I’ve called Bar Keepers Friend my miracle cleaning powder! I mix the powder with water to form a paste and use it to remove burned-on stains from stainless steel pots and pans with ease, keep my multicooker’s stainless steel insert gleaming like new, and remove marks and stains from my enameled cast iron Dutch ovens.
Dawn Ultra Platinum Powerwash
Dawn Powerwash has been a game changer for washing dishes by hand, especially when removing baked-on foods. A spray of this foaming concentrate removes sticky and stubborn foods from dishes and pans, without a lot of manual scrubbing. The longest I've had to let it sit on a pan was 5 minutes, for baked-on cheese in my lasagna pan. (After the short soak, I was able to wipe the pan clean with a non-abrasive scrubbing sponge.) No more soaking pans for hours!
Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Liquid Dish Soap, Lavender
This sudsy, biodegradable dish soap is great at cutting through grease when hand-washing dishes, pots, and pans. My favorite is the Lavender, though there are a total of 18 plant-derived scents to choose from.
Mauviel Copperbrill Copper Cleaner
Hands down, the best copper cleaner I’ve used. If you’re looking to return a copper piece to its original shine, I’ve found that this paste gets it done with less elbow grease than other cleaners I’ve tried.
Stonetech® Revitalizer® Cleaner and Protector
This natural stone cleaner was recommended by the company who installed our granite countertops, and it’s been my go-to bottle ever since. The gentle spray cleans the granite with either a light-citrus or cucumber scent and has a built-in sealer for protection. Using it almost exclusively, the 18-year old granite countertops in my heavily-used kitchen still look like new.
Fuller Brush Fulsol All-Purpose Degreaser
When I need a heavy degreaser (like when I’m cleaning the removable grates from my vent hood), nothing beats Fuller Brush Company’s Fulsol! It’s a concentrate, so a 1-gallon bottle will last a long time with normal use.
Carbona 2-In-1 Oven Rack And Grill Cleaner
With all of the recipe testing I do, my oven gets a workout! Carbona’s cleaner makes bringing the racks back to their original, shiny glory a breeze. After a soak in the solution (bags included in the kit), the racks rinse clean with minimal scrubbing.
Easy Off Professional Fume Free Max Oven Cleaner
For tackling really tough baked-on spots in my ovens, or spiffing up the interior between self-clean cycles (an all-day affair), I use Easy Off Fume Free. This spray cleans spots in seconds, without containing caustic lye.
*Before using any new product in your kitchen, always check to see what cleaning methods are recommended for your specific cookware and appliance brands, countertop materials, etc. When using kitchen cleaning products for the first time, it’s always a good idea to test them on a small piece before covering a large area.
